Unique Travel Map!

Love the idea, really cool way to show travels! I think this is neater than a scratch off map because it's more descriptive and you can show different trips or years. I used different colors for the years and added all the trips I took from that year in the same color, then put a little key in the lower left corner. I would recommend using a thicker strand, as it can be hard to see the stiches from far away even with the bright colors.

I've gifted scratch maps before, but this gift is perfect for creative friends to give them more flexibility in interpreting/displaying their travels

Unique craft for the world traveler

5

This was a gift for a hard to shop for friend. She is crafty and a world traveler so this really fit the bill! She has done cross-stitch before but she commented that it looked like a beginner could complete it with the instructions. She loved it because it was unique combining her love of crafts and travel. A fun way to document and show-off her trips abroad. Perfect!

Great Travel Map

5

Love this! Most of my trips cover some country and not just the big cities. I wanted a way that actually captured where my trips had taken me. This is perfect! No cross-stitch experience is needed as it is very simple. Since I do cross-stitch, I've used a my extra threads to make each trip a different color. This makes it more special for me and keeps it from getting confusing in places where I've come close on different road trips.

Best Gift EVER

5

My sister got this for me for Christmas. What an amazingly creative way to keep track of travels. I love cross stitching anyhow but I never had seen anything like this. I love that you have the ability to create your own journey and there are no rules on what you can stitch. This is probably the best gift that I have ever received.
