Join artist, poet, and writer Brendan Lorber for an extraordinary live virtual experience where you’ll learn how to transform your pet’s legendary journey into a topographical portrait of the heart. Brendan’s hand-drawn biographical maps, inspired by classic fantasy fiction and role-playing games, are on display in libraries and museums around the world—his imaginative style is perfectly suited to creating a timeless keepsake of your pet’s life, whether it’s to mark a special occasion, honor the memory of a beloved pet who crossed the rainbow bridge or just to celebrate the heartfelt bond between humans and their animal companions.

• Prior art experience is not required, but you’ll have some fun homework before class: coming up with a list of the landmark events, quirky qualities, favorite activities, and memorable moments that make up your friend’s bio—these will become the geographic features that capture your pet’s unique story and spirit.
• In class, you’ll jump right into drawing your map with Brendan’s engaging instruction and plenty of time to work and ask questions.
• Within 90 minutes, you’ll go from apprentice mapmaker to master cartographer as you create a meaningful work of art worth cherishing forever; you probably won't finish your map in class, but Brendan will equip you with the skills to complete your masterpiece with confidence.
