What Makes Metapainting - Mindfulness Painting Tile Kit Uncommon

The most meaningful creative moments often begin simply by slowing down. Designed by artist Ariel Shoemaker, this meditative painting practice invites makers of every skill level to settle into the gentle rhythm of color, texture, and brushstroke. Instead of painting on a flat canvas, you'll bring a hand-cast ceramic tile to life, letting its raised and recessed surfaces naturally guide your brush while creating a one-of-a-kind piece that captures a moment you'll want to remember.

  • Choose from First Chapters, inspired by fresh starts and hopeful beginnings, or Your Next Era, created for milestones and life's next adventures.
  • At the heart of every kit is a hand-cast ceramic Mosaic Evolution Tile, individually made by Ariel from her original glass mosaic artwork. No two tiles are exactly alike.
  • Includes six curated acrylic paints, a fine detail brush, mixing tray, step-by-step process guide, and an artist-designed zippered canvas keepsake pouch.
  • The richly textured ceramic surface guides every brushstroke, making the experience approachable for beginners while rewarding experienced painters.
  • No prior art experience is needed. The included guide walks through color mixing, layering, and intentional brushwork from start to finish.
  • Once complete, the water-resistant tile becomes a lasting keepsake that can be displayed on a shelf, framed, or given as a meaningful gift.
  • Handmade in Massachusetts.
