Disappointed

1

Product was poorly made. Leaks. And tea leaves go through the holes.

Defective! Poor Design

1

The filter holes in this bottle is a bit too large as my loose teas do go through them, which is unfortunate because the only reason why I got this bottle is for the built-in filter. Also, for some reasons my bottom cap is leaky. There are rings around the edge of the cap that the tea comes out of. Not sure why that is. I even have the rubber rings inserted properly (it does come off easily which is another downside) yet the cap is leaking tea.

Great concept

3

Great concept, but the filter holes where you put the loose leaf tea let half of the tea leaf pieces into what my husband is drinking.

Great concept but product needs tweaking.

I love the idea of this product and was very excited when my husband bought this for me. The downfall for me was a huge flaw in the design. First the pro. When it is vertical, the water doesn't escape into the tea leaf area which is a super. However, as you angle it to infuse the leaves it is the same motion to drink from, therefore, when I went to drink the liquid the higher the angle the more the tea disappeared into the lower section and it became a bit of a "tea all over my face" moment by the time I managed to get the tea to come back! It's not so bad when there's a lot of liquid in there but as it depletes this issue arises. I feel like there needs to be some sort of contraption which will prevent water from entering the leaf area whenever you want to drink. As an aside, user error came first as I didn't screw the bottom tight enough so the water leaked - definitely double check!

If only if fit in my cupholder...?

2

Was so excited to receive this as a gift but then when I took it apart, I discovered that the openings on both ends are wide mouth (I'm one of those "spill down my face" people if I don't have a little opening on whatever I'm drinking in the car...). Also although it is called Tea To Go, it doesn't actually fit in my cup holder (Honda CRV)... Really cool idea and fairly cool idea but didn't quite hit the mark... Might keep it but only for at home use of loose teas...

Defective Upon Arrival

2

Unfortunately like some of the other reviewers this arrived defective. It looks as though the rubber seal is missing from one end and it leaked badly on that side. Only gave two stars as the one end worked fine so it seems like this would be a great product if both seals were in place.
