Fun Concept but lock does not work
I was so excited to give this to my husband for Valentine's Day, but the lock just won't lock. I tried to line up the code from the sticker to lock, tried everything to push it down and it just wouldn't lock. I guess we can still play the game and pretend but I wish I had listened to the reviews about the lock problem.

Fun and unique game, makes a great gift!
This whiskey escape is so fun and unique. The materials themselves are quality and it feels like it will hold up. I got this as a gift for a friend and loved it so much that I got one for myself! I can't wait to bust this out on game night.

Great concept, fun to open, game could be so much better
This is such a great idea and my husband loved it upon opening and got a good laugh out of it. He dove in and started in on the game, but quickly realized it's not really an escape room. It's basically a bunch of questions on cards that you just Google for answers and fill out the game board until you get to the lock combo. He learned a lot in his Google-ing, but an escape room this is not. It's too bad, because with better execution this could be so great! All in all, a fun gift, but can't really recommend.

Christmas gift for my boss was a HIT!
Bought this for the 2 gentlemen I work for as a Christmas gift, who both enjoy a good bourbon. I put the bottle in the cage and locked it before wrapping it. They loved it! They had never seen anything like this before. They played it the day after Christmas and sent me a text with a photo showing me that they had unlocked the cage. Took them about 30 minutes. Great gift!

Lock does not lock
The lock to the game literally does not work, which is obviously needed for this product to make any sense. Don't waste your money.

Hi, forgive my ignorance but my husband really enjoys bourbon- would the card questions be appropriate as bourbon is a type of whisky correct?

Hello! That's a great question! Yes bourbon is a type of whiskey and you can absolutely play the game with bourbon provided that the bottle fits in the cage.
