Crafty Cacti

Making something beautiful with pretty colors and shapes is satisfying and soothing for people of all ages. (Coloring books, anyone?) With our Felt Succulents Kit, you can do your artistic crafting in 3D.

Each artist-designed kit includes everything you need to make 18 beautiful succulent plants. Roll the pre-cut pieces of felt, secure them with a rubber band, and then adhere them to the bottom of the box. Then, color the leaves or petals to your liking with chalk, making subtle or striking edgings and lovely ombre shadings. When you're done, you've got a stunning, faux succulent frame that doesn't require a green thumb. Make one with your child and see how thrilled they are to have their art no longer relegated to the refrigerator: Hang it on the living room or bedroom wall, or use it as a unique, colorful centerpiece at the dinner table.

Comments about UncommonGoods Felt Succulents Kit:

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, and was so intrigued I bought one for my self. I showed my visually impaired sister who was totally delighted, and is sharing my box. She is buying two for her granddaughters. Easy to construct, can be customized with the included color chalks.

      Okay, not great

Comments about UncommonGoods Felt Succulents Kit:

The felt pieces are all cut and ready to roll up, but they don't look symmetrical like the images. You need to really manipulate them to look good. The pastels that come with the kit don't easily transfer to the felt, and there is an art to applying the pastels to make the felt succulents look realistic. I went online to see how other people make felt succulents and made up my own patterns which create more consistent results.

Comments about UncommonGoods Felt Succulents Kit:

I had wanted to find a way to make succulent napkin rings for my sister's wedding shower, since she loves them and is using them in her bouquets. These popped up in my search, and I wasn't disappointed! I didn't use them as they were intended, as an art piece, but I was able to make individual succulents fairly quickly with the kit and hot glue them to rings. I'm beyond happy with the results. Thanks!
