Perfect unique gift!
I gave it as a graduation gift when my niece finished her degree in engineering. It was a shattered glass ceiling necklace--very elegant and appropriate, since she picked an usual male subject for study. She said other women in engineering have seen her necklace, and wanted to buy one for themselves.
I love giving gifts that are unique and meaningful, and this one hit the nail on the head. My friend is moving to Boston to begin her post grad life, so what better way to commemorate that move than with something she will get to use and see all the time! As I've been living in Boston for a few years it was also meaningful coming from me, almost as a welcome to the city present!
For a young woman who is graduation with a degree in criminal justice this was perhaps the most meaningful gift that I could have purchased.
It conveyed all that I could have wished for her and will remind her without overwhelming on a daily basis what life can hold for her.
This turned out to be a very touching, unique gift for a college graduate just starting out on her own adventure of life.
I have ordered another one for another graduate we know.
Was looking for the perfect graduation gift - one that was small, useful and made a point. I know college gives students a lot of knowledge and tools for life, but one thing it (usually does not) - are the everyday tools, like a flashlight, a screwdriver and such and this item filled the bill - you should have seen their faces when they opened it up... Big grins and understanding that they would need these when Family was no longer be on call to come right away to hang a picture or assemble furniture...
