A Wonderful Gift and Project
My father retired some years ago and that can be a struggle even for the strongest of people. Time moves on, people move on--him and I have always been very close, super close--and you don't get get them back. So, for his grandkids, for me, I wanted to get him a Father's Day gift that would mean something to him and everyone who cares about him--his story. Some folks might be able to sit down and write themselves onto a page, but for most people little prompts are good. He's enjoyed this book a lot, so far. Remembering things long before I was ever born and explaining his thoughts on ideas that rarely come up. I get to see a picture of him that I never knew much about. I highly recommend this book/journal to anyone who has a loved one that they want to preserve on a page for posterity. Its wonderful.

Perfect Gift!
We sent this book to my father for his 74th birthday, and he has been gushing about it ever since. He has subscribed to the Wall Street Journal for as long as I can remember, so he has loved looking back at the front pages of each paper on his birthday for each year of his life. So glad we found this perfect gift for him!

I think it is a unique gift, especially with the personalization. I haven't given it to the person yet. I am sure he will think it is very special & be very surprised since he is a woodworker & all around handy man!

For Someone Who Has Everything
A longtime colleague was retiring and I couldn't find anything for him. He had all the whiskeys and wines, pens and paperweights, and I was fretting over it. Then I remembered he grew up playing hockey and knew he was a Boston sports fan through and through. This gift made perfect sense and will make a lasting impression.
