It was a fun group game that also had an educational component to it.
This was a gift for the family for Christmas. It was a hit across generations, creating story telling and sparking conversations.
Laughter is a key component to promoting a positive and nurturing home environment. I am the Lifestyle Director for a community of Residents varying in differing stages of Dementia. This game/activity brings them together to share memories, challenge their thinking skills, socialize, and share laughter over these fun Word Teasers.
Director of Excitement
This was a really fun game and a unique topic. We enjoyed playing it after a wine tasting party at my house.
This was an amusing gift to play with the gifts during dinner to keep my kid from getting bored. It did not seem very challenging but it was fun and it does promote discussion "Did you know the old wives tale...blah blah blah"
That guy who will never shut up
My mother-in-law thought it was a fun game for when a little entertainment was needed.
Sorry, this was a glorified utterly boring gift. Money out the window.
Good, simple fun for all ages.
I think these are so fun! They start conversations and have really interesting facts about the origins of the wives' tales. I bought it because my younger son doesn't live timed games or trivia games (of course, because he is the youngest in the family), but we don't even play it as a competitive game, we just read the cards while we're waiting for our food at a restaurant, or waiting for anything! They are small enough to fit in my rather large purse so I pack them if I know we are going to have to wait for anything. The only down side is that my boys are teens, so it is a little bit easy for them. But the fun facts are definitely new to all of us!
