My new favorite game!!!!

I didn't know how badly I needed this game until it arrived! It's now my new fave game for family game night, girls night, date night, literally all of the above. The game itself is gorgeous, the tiles are lightweight, kid-friendly, and great for travel. The Mini Mahjer cards with Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced levels are pure genius. I've been able to teach my niece and nephews (ages 6, 8 and 10) and play alongside them using my National Mahjong League Card. If you're looking for something that's strategic, inclusive for all ages, and a real memory-maker, this is it. Highly recommend!

I'm wondering about using this for a travel set. How much does it weigh? Does it include a mat? Also, how many blanks are included?

When ready to ship, this game set weighs around 7 lbs 5 oz. The game itself was designed with travel in mind. It includes a soft neoprene mat (just under 20' x 20') that easily rolls up for packing, tiles that are thin, lightweight, and easy to handle, and racks that sit flat to reduce bulk and slipping compared to traditional racks. It seems that 4 blanks are included.
