Perk Up Your Spirits

Drink in the healing powers of natural minerals as you savor your favorite brew with these uplifting mugs by artisan potter Donna Rollins. The artist infuses her hand-thrown ceramic mugs with various minerals during the firing process and coat each one with a lustrous, glossy glaze. To finish, she crowns each mug with one of four healing stones, each one possesses its own unique qualities. Like "worry stones," these lovely minerals are smooth to the touch and can be rubbed gently to focus your mind and lift your mood as you enjoy a soothing cup of tea or your morning coffee.

Blue Mug: Clear Quartz, a popular healing crystal, is considered to be the master healer, aiding many areas of the body.
Red Mug: Tiger's Eye/Cat's Eye aids in focusing the mind and is used in meditation.
Purple Mug: Rose Quartz, the important crystal for the heart chakra and is the unconditional love stone.
Dark Brown Mug: Citrine, the stone of regenerating, raises self-confidence and is also known as the financial prosperity stone.

Non-toxic glazes used. Handmade in East Hampstead, New Hampshire. Each mug is one of a kind and unique in appearance; please expect slight color variance. Patent pending.

Each mug includes a card explaining the believed healing properties of the stone.

We took a trip up to New Hampshire and visited the Rollins' studio. Take a peek for yourself on the blog.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

“I don’t think we’re just attracted to pottery by its beauty. There’s an energy there. That’s my philosophy.”

Donna E. Rollins' "aha" moment came to her in a dear friend's home. "I was admiring her stone collection and thought, 'How can I incorporate the healing benefits of crystals and minerals with my love for pottery?'" says the New Hampshire-based artist.

Along with several staff members—including their daughters—Donna works to infuse their products with the positive energy of quartz. "It's in our clay and glazes," she says, adding that most of the crystals they set into the mug handles are quartz-based too. And though each creator has a slightly different style, they all have a common goal, says Donna: "Collectively, we create what becomes an individual's new favorite mug."

Excellent Mother's Day gift

The mug is beautiful. I admit I wanted to originally get the blue one, but it was out of stock. The brown/citrine mug was still stunning. I will probably get her the rest of them over time/holidays.

Stone came out

I LOVE this mug and I still use it often because of it's size but after about a month of use (and strict hand washing only) the stone came out. I will probably re-glue it on later but i know it will just keep coming out leaving a residue of glue and that's a bummer.

The perfect mug to wrap your hands around while drinking Tea

Love the mugs, they fit under our larger Keurig for morning coffee. Holds largest amount of beverage of any of our mugs 16ozs. The handles are ,in general large enough to put your hand through so you can wrap your hands around the warm cup, so welcome with arthritic hands. The only problem has been the loss of 2 of the stones on the handle. I bought 5 mugs in total. Only 1 came in time for Christmas but we got all the rest later.

Perfect coffee mug!

I got this mug to replace one that I received as a gift. They have changed manufacturers. The capacity is smaller than the original, but still plenty big. It holds two full cups. The stone on the original frequently came loose; this one holds firm. Overall the structure of the handle and the slight change in shape should make it less fragile which is good because it is really lovely. I love the colors and will purchase more for myself and as gifts.
