Bari Moss took her first pottery class in 1986, and from the moment her hands touched the clay, her life was transformed forever. Now—after more than 30 years of throwing, glazing, and firing—working with earth, water, and fire continues to be the most joyful and meaningful way she connects with the world around her. She finds it endlessly satisfying to bond with people through the work she makes in her New York City studio—especially when customers report becoming unusually attached to their favorite mug or bowl.
