What Makes It Uncommon

Start each morning mindfully thanks to this mug meant for contemplating. Maker Jamie Greenwood hand-throws each one on her pottery wheel, then paints it to perfection using a peaceful palette of misty gray, cool seafoam green, and rich mauves and purples. A vibrant blue mandala adorns the bottom half of the mug—apt for gazing at and turning your coffee break into a mini meditation. Handmade in Pennsylvania.

Funnily enough, it took searching for a present for someone else in order for Jamie Greenwood to find her own gift. She stopped into a pottery studio looking to shop one day, and got inspired to start taking lessons. Soon enough, she became enamored with the way she could turn her imagination into tangible works of art, experimenting with kaleidoscopic glazes and dedicating more and more of her time to the medium. Now, Jamie has a studio of her own in Pennsylvania, where she crafts each beautiful piece.
