I recently got a Whiskey Making Kit as a gift, and I have to say, it's been an awesome experience. The kit had everything I needed, and the instructions were super easy to follow. It felt really rewarding to go through the whole process of making my own whiskey. When I finally got to taste it, I was genuinely surprised by how good it was-smooth and full of flavor. Sharing it with friends and telling them I made it myself was such a cool feeling. If you're into whiskey or just looking for a fun project, I highly recommend giving this kit a try. It's one of the best gifts I've ever received!

If you want to give this to someone so they can use it right away, be sure to research what else you need to package it with (e.g. lemons, and vodka.) That said, since lemons don't have a lot of lasting power, maybe just give them vodka. This is great for friends who love Italian food/drinks, mixology, or gourmet stuff (especially if they like making it.) Also, it's simple enough that even if you have a friend who enjoys adult beverages but isn't so enthusiastic about cooking, they will still enjoy it.

The root beer-making kit is original and imaginative. My dear son-in-law, whose big Christmas gift it is, is delighted with it! We are all root beer lovers in our family, so this wonderful beverage will be much enjoyed. To be able to make the root beer yourself is very special. The product arrived promptly and was very carefully wrapped for shipping. I have ordered items from Uncommon Goods for a number of years. You offer items that I don't see anywhere else. I will continue to order from you.

I enjoy a nice beverage on a frequent occasion and often reach for a nice bourbon, whiskey or scotch to quench my thirst. I typically will indulge through a bottle before moving on to my other wares. With the addition of the Stone Drink Dispenser from uncommon goods, I now have the perfect center piece delivery system to provide my refreshment easily and most stylishly. I've already received several comments from guests in the past few weeks and I except at least a few of them to make this purchase as well. If you are a proud fellow connoisseur of tasty liquors and enjoy showcasing your passion - then you must purchase this item and complete your bar!

The kit is small but gives you just about everything you need to make the drink (minus the alcohol.) My spouse enjoys any variations on the Old Fashioned. He rhapsodizes about a version he had on a business trip. He was really thrilled with this gift and the mix made a very complicated and tasty cocktail (the supplies seemed to be enough for a couple of cocktails, though I'd say overall it's a little overpriced.)
