The perfect gift for beer lovers, and those who are interested in making their own beer. This was actually the second time I've purchased a beer making kit from Uncommon Goods.

The root beer-making kit
The root beer-making kit is original and imaginative. My dear son-in-law, whose big Christmas gift it is, is delighted with it! We are all root beer lovers in our family, so this wonderful beverage will be much enjoyed. To be able to make the root beer yourself is very special. The product arrived promptly and was very carefully wrapped for shipping. I have ordered items from Uncommon Goods for a number of years. You offer items that I don't see anywhere else. I will continue to order from you.

Fun & Tasty cocktails at home!
The kit is small but gives you just about everything you need to make the drink (minus the alcohol.) My spouse enjoys any variations on the Old Fashioned. He rhapsodizes about a version he had on a business trip. He was really thrilled with this gift and the mix made a very complicated and tasty cocktail (the supplies seemed to be enough for a couple of cocktails, though I'd say overall it's a little overpriced.)

Unique gift for whiskey lovers
We prepped this barrel as instructed and loaded it with whiskey -it's a handsome piece for any home tavern. Only disappointment was that unless you buy the DIY whiskey kit, the barrels alone do NOT come with a cleaning kit, even though the pamphlet it is packed with says one is included = annoying to have to explain to the gift recipient and buy separately. Imho Uncommon Goods should include one and upcharge to cover the cost.

I loved the variety of flavors and the recommendations for which booze would infuse best. The kits include little recipe cards that made me feel like I really knew what I was doing when it came to making cocktails!

I love this "shop"
Sorry I'm commenting on uncommongoods, and not the Bubble Tea Kit. The kit was perfect. In her teens, my daughter worked for a bubble tea shop in Virginia. This brought back happy memories for her. This week I ordered my son in law the make your own Hot Sauce Kit for his birthday. I'm sure it will be a hit too. I just love that I can get great, unique gifts for my hard to buy for New York family.
