What Makes This Scoville Scale Chili Pepper Tasting Kit Uncommon

Used to measure the heat level of chili peppers, the Scoville Scale translates the food’s capsaicin concentration into Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). Tickle your taste buds with this fiery collection of pepper flakes—from mild varieties, like ancho chili (1,500 SHUs) and jalapeño (5,000 SHUs), to scorchers, like the ghost pepper (945,714 SHUs) and Carolina Reaper (1,800,000 SHUs). Create your own hot sauce, punch up the heat of your favorite dishes, or challenge your friends to see who can handle the hottest peppers of them all.

  • Includes 10 vials of different pepper flakes to taste test: Bird’s Eye, Cayenne, Jalapeño, Trinidad Scorpion, Habanero Red Savina, Carolina Reaper, Ancho, Guajillo, Chipotle Morita, and Ghost Pepper.
  • Made in New York.

Usually ships within 24 hours.
