Ain't No Mountain High Enough

Oh, the places you've gone! And the adventures that are still ahead of you! Travel can make the world feel smaller, but also more grand and beautiful—which is exactly how this interactive art presents it. The map is printed in gold and black, but when you scratch off places you've visited (we recommend using an eraser), vivid bursts of color are revealed. Look along the bottom of the piece and you'll discover illustrations with interesting tidbits about world geography. Printed on sturdy cardstock. Made in the UK.

My daughter bought me the original for Christmas since I love to travel. After a couple of years the scratch off with coin just failed. Got the new one, improvements include use an eraser instead of a coin to scratch off and the state's are clearly marked. Much better than the original. I highly recommend this map for travel lovers

Best Gift Ever

This is the perfect gift for friends and family that travel. I recently bought this as a gift for friends who retired and are traveling the world. I also bought one for myself. It is easy to forget exactly where you went, especially if you travel a lot and these maps are perfect for personal use and for conversation pieces.

Want to love it but cannot

My daughter bought this for me for Christmas. We travel a lot and I really loved the idea. Took it in and had a frame built for it and hung it over my desk. US travel is tough to tell where to scratch since there are no markings but I can live with that but now, nothing scratches off. I can rub till the paper tears and nothing happens. So disappointed.

Great map, but...

My husband and I received this for a wedding gift. We have traveled all over the US and are starting to take trips overseas, so we were so excited to start scratching off places we've visited. My husband even made an awesome frame for it to hang on our wall. However, it is SO difficult to scratch of the gold layer. It's been hanging on our wall with a bunch of states and countries half scratched off because it's difficult to find the time (and elbow grease) needed to scratch off the top layer. I'm dreading starting on China! I've tried several different erasers, and nothing seems to work very well. Overall, the map looks great and I love all the colors, but it just isn't very functional.

Great product, horrible delivery

The product looks great! I haven't had a chance to use it though. I need to return it in exchange for a new one because the box arrived damaged and the way it was packaged didn't protect the map from getting damaged...

Yes I would purchase this product again.

I brought this for my son's half sister's wedding coming up in May 2018. She loves cruises and I figured she could put map tacks with flags to write in year that they visited and then future trips for her and her husband.

Fun Way to Document Your Journeys

I got this map for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. We love to travel so this is an awesome and classy way to show where we have been. The first map that delivered had printed incorrectly so when we scratched off the material, the country's name wasn't on there correctly. Uncommon Goods was so quick in their response when I reached out and made it so easy to get a replacement. They shipped me a replacement right away and I didn't need to return the defective one. That made everything so much better. Great map, great gift, and AMAZING customer service from Uncommon Goods!

Really bummed and kinda embarassed

This was a Christmas present for my fiancé. We recently moved in together and travel constantly and I thought this was the perfect decorative piece above our desk in our new place. We're always looking up maps to plan our travel between countries and I thought it would be great to have the map right there and also remind us of all the fun places we've been together. The packaging was adorable and we were really excited. It was a bit bigger than we expected for the space but that was fine! We sat down one Friday night to start to scratch off where we'd been together and the gold wouldn't remove - it tore right through Peru! He then tried and it sort of tore/dented again without creating color. We'll have to get rid of it - would love my money back but more so would love the same concept that actually works!! :/
