You can likely use other small candies in the Build Your Own Candy Dispenser, but there are a few things to consider: Candy Compatibility Tips Shape matters: Round gumballs work well because they roll easily and dispense smoothly. Other small round candies like jawbreakers, Runts, or Skittles might also work. Size consistency: Candies that are roughly the same size as gumballs (about 1 inch diameter) are ideal. If they're too small, they might jam or fall through too quickly. Avoid sticky or irregular shapes: Candies like gummy bears, Starburst, or wrapped items may get stuck or clog the mechanism. Test in small batches: Try a few pieces of the candy first to see how they move through the dispenser before filling the whole jar.
