Every child has a favorite storybook they want read aloud at night. On evenings when you can’t be there for bedtime, this unique book buddy is happy to narrate for you, in your own voice. Simply add a number sticker to each page of your kid’s must-read adventure, then record yourself reading it in 30-second clips (be sure not to skimp on the villainous voices and goofy sound effects). Once you’re happy with your audio bites, stick the book buddy to the back cover with the adhesive strip. As your child follows the numbered pages, they can press the corresponding buttons and listen to you weave their treasured yarn.

I just received my recordable book buddy from Uncommon Goods. Delivery was so quick in less than 4 days. The delightful packaging contributes to making it a wonderful gift. The device is very manageable, and the well written instructions make it easy to use. I loved that it is very easy to re-record, even several times, enabling me to get my voice and inflections just right. My book for my niece was a shorter book, so I had extra buttons for recording. I used those for a special greeting to the child and an ending comment which were both nice extras. My grandchildren love to have me read to them with my "Different voices". This book buddy gives me a wonderful way to let them hear their favorite books over and over with my voice, even when I am not there. It also preserves my voice with the book for them to give to their children. Intend to make several for them. The Book Buddy is a great, unique product.
