It's a great gift for travelers .. or those just retiring.
San Angelo, TX
I received this as a Christmas gift, and I just started scratching it off. Several spots on the map won't scratch off - mostly the state and capital. Some came off and some didn't so the map doesn't look that great.
This is a neat way to document our family travels.
Plan to use this as a reminder of places we've been and places we still need to visit.

I'm a little disappointed in this map. It's a great concept/idea to track where you have been, but the gold covering is impossible to clear away in many spots (mainly the state initials and big cities). I probably would not buy it as a present again, unless it's for a child.
I bought this for my 15 year-old nephews birthday. He has everything under the sun and just $ never feels appropriate. He loves family vacations and I thought this would be a neat way to remember all the places he goes with his family. He loved it!
It's nice it has a lot of cities on each state...
Got this for my husband. We have been traveling to different states for moves and trips. This has been a wonderful and beautiful addition to our home; to keep track of all the states we have visited as a family.
We love to travel as a family, in our 5th wheeler or by plane visiting family and hitting all the family vacation spots. This map is a nice way for her to see where she has been and help her with geography. I have already bought one for my 10 year old as well.
I received this type of poster as a gift. I am wondering if it can be mounted on FOAM. The frame shop was a little concerned about the "heat process" used to mount on foam, that is might cause a problem with the foil. Any help??? Or other mounting ideas.
