Great gift
I gave this to my niece for her 2nd birthday, and she absolutely loves them. Her mom wants her to learn Spanish, so this is a good start to that!

Great Unique Baby Gift/Toddler Birthday
Unique! I like finding useful baby gifts (unlike outfits that will be worn once or twice and outgrown!) and this has the bonus of being educational. They could be used to teach letters at a young age and then the elements at an older age. Yes, chemistry is tough, but learning the elements at a young age would help! Besides I want to encourage kids to grow up to be smart scientists like their mamas (whom I work with!)

Fun & Unusual Gift for 2 yr old Nephew
[...] Thought construction plate & construction utensils clever idea as 2 yr old boys love trucks. Recipient's mom says he loves both plate and truck utensils & they make dinner-time much more fun. Colorful & well-made (I was told). Although product recommended for 3+, mother says it's fine for her 2 yr old.
