Beautiful, but not practical for wear

This piece is beautiful, however it just is not practical. You cannot wash your hands with this ring on as water seeps in and ruins the "mood" coloring. I cannot wear a piece of jewelry and always obsess at what I am doing... do not forget to take off when cooking because you wash your hands, whoops, wore in the shower, whoops, it rained... point is, it just is not practical and a piece like this I want to wear all the time. I do not want to treat a ring like a newborn baby and constantly fixate on taking it off, putting git back on, whoops left on the restaurant's bathroom sink...
