"There's a fine line between a rut and a groove," potter Brian Kunkelman likes to say. This idea reflects the balance required to hand-throw each design with the mix of consistency and variation that makes every piece one-of-a-kind. Brian goes with the flow—from the water outside his studio window to the music playing near his potter's wheel, to the meditative rhythm of working with clay. Using little more than his hands and his trusty powered foot wheel, he shapes stoneware into clever bowls that blend organic elegance with everyday utility.

Arrived broken in multiple piece
Sadly this arrived broken in multiple pieces. It was a gift to my mother. She had to take a photo of it so I could request a refund from the company. I am not planning on ordering anything fragile again from Uncommon Goods as I cannot trust that it will be packed well enough to arrive in one piece.

The Best!
Very well made berry bowl. It's the perfect size to wash a few berries and beautiful enough to serve fruit salad for a party, or leave on your countertop. I love the handle where you can pour the water out and the tray on the bottom keeps the countertop from getting wet when you set it down. It's a little heavier than I'd like, but overall I love it!! Would recommend to buy for yourself, or would make a very thoughtful gift. Excellent workmanship.

Buying for all my friends!
This is a great bowl, period, end of story. Spacious, great drainage, and well-crafted. As soon as I used it for the first time, I knew I'd buy more for my friends for Christmas. An added benefit is knowing I'm supporting an individual craftsman. Love it!

Love my berry bowl
It was a mother's day gift and I use it all the time for anything that needs to be washed/rinsed etc. Plus, it is beautiful and I keep it out on my counter. Heavy and works so well with many holes and a really wide attached saucer with pour spout. Just love it. Don't hesitate to buy one for a shower gift or for a new home. Great value and quality workmanship.

We're not sure exactly what you mean, but there are holes for the water to drain. There are several thumbnail photos just below the main one. Click on them, and they'll enlarge. Then you can see where the holes are.
