What Makes It Uncommon

This ingenious bowl has that all figured out. It's designed so you can dish out two complimentary foods at once, but keep them apart until you're ready to nosh, ensuring that every bite is perfect, every time.

Features a center rib with ramps on both edges, so you can easily scoop between sides without spilling.
The ergonomic curved shape lets you hold it comfortably with one hand.

“Get engaged and excited about how people do things and pay attention, then work your way to a product idea you're excited about and other people love.”

After working for a few years as a mechanical engineer right out of college, Thomas Both felt the need to feed his right brain, and so he enrolled in design school at Stanford University and went on to teach at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design. When creating his ceramic pieces, no functional detail is left untested. “I work much more as a designer now than an engineer,” he says, “but both play a part.”
