The Experience

We humans have been studying how heavenly bodies affect our fates and fortunes for nearly 5,000 years—so you know there's a lot more to astrology than just checking your horoscope app. In this live virtual class, leading astrologer Emily Klintworth will show you how to chart your unique astrological forecast for the next 12 months.

  • Before class, you’ll create your astrological solar return chart using the date, place and exact time of your birth (seriously, you'll want to find your birth certificate, because if your birth time is even a few minutes off, you'll get an incorrect reading).
  • At the beginning of class, Emily will ask you to center on an intention for this birthday and the year ahead. With that in mind, you'll build your forecast using the chart and stickers included with the class.
  • Emily's expert guidance will help you identify patterns of celestial energy month by month and understand how they can affect you—there may be seasons where you need to be more active, for example, or others when you should slow down and practice self-care.
  • By the end of the class, you'll have a detailed astrological guide to help you navigate the coming year, and a deeper connection to your innate self, intuition, and potential—no wonder we've been at this for 5,000 years.
Class length: 75 minutes
Comes with the class: The Annual Birth Chart and Stickers have been developed by Emily and designed by Uncommon Goods to be used during this experience and as an expert tool to further your astrological explorations.

I keep coming back

I took this class at first as a way for my Brother and I to do something fun together, that was about 4 years ago now. Since then we have joined this class every year, learning a bit more and becoming better at understanding the poetry of the planets and stars. I highly recommend

I was surprised that you are still in charge of the Astrology reading, and it is your interpretation that matters most. Amazing Class

Great for beginners or a birthday re-focus!

The warning at the beginning of class is that the first ten minutes are confusing, which immediately takes the pressure off. Very quickly, you'll catch on to the jargon, and there is a good step-by-step flow. Very informative without being info-dumpy! You can absolutely ask questions, and everyone involved was very nice and helpful.

Fascinating and Crazy Accurate Class

I loved this experience. Emily was easy to understand, kind, interesting and energetic. It was fun to do as a group, and the results were completely personalized. I was blown away by the insights I was able to get in this 45 minute course - I feel much more prepared and confident for the year ahead. So glad that this was offered by Uncommon Goods and look forward to also reading Emily's book for deeper insights.

Great Question! We don't yet allow that unfortunately, though we're working to build out that ability! You do have a couple options though! A) You can purchase a gift card on the site for the amount of the experience + kit (if there's a kit) or B) You can purchase a date into the future (I recommend the latest available date) and let your recipient know they can reschedule online with our customer service department!
