Seeing the World in Blue
The item is so unique. The appearance brightens up any room not to mention it will catch all eyes once seen. It has the quality to produce questions and where can I purchase one. I purchase this for my company owner. What do you purchase someone has it all, well this out beat most all company gifts I must say. I will use uncommon goods for more purchases for sure

Not many drastic temperature changes indoors
It's really pretty, and I love the idea of it, but I've had mine for a year now and once it settled in, it never changed. We keep our house at a pretty steady temperature, and I read that is the main cause of changes in the storm glass, so I'm guessing that's why.

The Weather Changing Water Droplets is a beautiful functional décor piece for indoor use, and its changes are primarily a reaction to temperature fluctuations. Being kept in a consistently controlled environment, the crystal formations should still show variations with temperature fluctuations. We believe this may be a one-time issue, and you may notice more activity by positioning the droplet near a window where it can receive natural light, but away from direct sunlight. This often helps the crystal formations evolve more noticeably with even small temperature shifts. If the crystals remain at the bottom and do not change, the glass may be "stuck." and we would love to reach out for additional steps to ensure everything is functioning properly and to assist further if needed. Pretty to look at....
I just wanted to get something cool for myself. I bought the large droplet on the wooden base and it is actually soothing to look at. I know it doesn't actually predict weather changes accurately, but it is pretty and a great conversation piece.

Hi! This item is designed for indoor use. Position the droplet indoors where it will experience the most drastic temperature changes and away from direct sunlight for optimal performance.

Is the wooden base attached to the large size? Can you chose not to use it? Is the base flat on top or recessed to fit the "droplet"?

Does this droplet come with instructions and/or a usage guide so the recipient knows how to interpret the changes in the contents? What does rain or snow predicted look like? etc.

Yes, the Weather Changing Water Droplets come with an instruction manual. Crystals are easier to see with large changes in temperature and can be confirmed when the temperature is low.
