Care
The main body may become blocked with soot after a few uses, which will reduce the flow of smoke. Using the chimney brush, push the tool through the smoking ports on the neck of the main body to clean out any left over soot. Wipe out any soot from the chamber. If care instructions are followed, Foghat will last for approximately 100 burns. Discard at end of life.
Notes
Kitchen Torch Precautions:
1. Keep out of reach of children.
2. Keep away from faces of others, self and inflammable articles when using.
3. DO NOT continuously burn over 5 mins.
4. DO NOT touch the nozzle or metal pipe when using.
5. Avoid direct sunshine or placing in a space over 50 degrees celsius.
6. Use only acceptable butane gas.
7. Use safety lock when not in use.
8. When filling the gas - if there is gas leakage from the inlet, it means that the cylinder is full.
Foghat Safety Precautions:
1. Only use for intended purpose, in a safe environment.
2. Children should never handle this product.
3. Do not burn smoker shavings for more than 10 secs.
4. Do not place near other combustible materials when lighting.
5. Do not overfill chamber with shavings.
6. Always use the mesh guard on top of the smoker with shavings in the chamber.

Perfect Birthday Gift
I bought this for my husband's birthday and it was a PERFECT gift! It's a great starter kit to see if you enjoy crafting smoked cocktails before buying a ton of supplies. The butane torch was easy to use and my husband was thrilled with the scent and flavor that the included wood chips imparted on his whiskey. We're planning to branch out with purchasing additional chips and different types of wood to see how it changes the outcome for the drink. There is a little bit of wood smoke smell that will linger in the air if your house isn't well ventilated, but we liked the smell and it didn't last long enough to absorb into any of the furniture or curtains.

After receiving the first one, I purchased a second one.
I haven't use the two I purchased as they are gifts. However, I saw the same cocktail smoker being used in a restaurant. My husband commented on it and I'm sure he will be excited for his cocktail smoker gift!

Still deciding.
I'm an old fashioned gal.. and love mine smoked, however this didn't really come with clear directions. like how many chips to use? 1/4 tsp.. 1/2 tsp. Etc. according to the directions given, you put them under the basket? That doesn't make sense. I'm winging it and making due, but it's definitely got a learning curve. #sweepstakes
