Ivan Hull gives French oak wine barrels a second act that is every bit as refined as their first. After aging wine for four seasons in Bordeaux or California wine country, each barrel is carefully disassembled and rebuilt by hand into a serving platter that carries the quiet romance of vineyards past and dinner parties yet to come. The result is a statement piece that feels storied, substantial, and ready for its place at the center of the table.

Crafted from the ends of authentic French oak wine barrels that once aged fine wine for up to four years.
Reconstructed from oak staves, planed and joined with zero tolerance and secured using Swiss woodworking connectorsto prevent cracks and warping.
Coated three times with food-safe beeswax to nourish and protect the wood while enhancing its natural grain.
Forged iron handles handmade in a Brooklyn workshop for a sturdy, heirloom-quality finish.
Underside retains its original wine staining, a subtle reminder of its first life in the barrel room.
Available in Small (18" dia.) or Large (23") dia.
Handmade in New York.

Ivan Hull has spent a lifetime immersed in design, from running a window dressing business as a teen to building a team of artisans in Aspen creating pop art sculptures. After more than 20 years in the garment industry, a chance discovery in an Australian winery sparked a new path. Inspired by the beauty of aged oak wine barrels, he began transforming reclaimed wood into elegant serving platters. By giving centuries-old materials a second life, Ivan creates timeless pieces meant for gathering, celebrating, and being passed down for generations.
