Day at the Beach

Secure and accent your cuffs with these cufflinks, handmade from sand gathered from your choice of one of thousands of picturesque world beaches. Jewelrymaker Holly Daniels Christensen sets a pinch of sand from your favorite seaside spot in silver bezels sealed with jewelry-grade resin. Organic and utterly modern, they're a unique sculptural way to add a tangible reminder of a laid-back, sunny day at the beach to an occasion that's more buttoned-down. Handmade in Massachusetts, the cufflinks come with a card that indicates the source of the sand.

In response to our customers' requests, we are happy to offer you the option to send in your own sand for more personalized cufflinks for $175. If you choose this option, you will be sent a convenient mailer with instructions.

My daughter loved the idea so much that she has asked for a necklace to be made out of our sand to have a piece of her grandfather's beach where ever she goes as well.

I gave these cufflinks to my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. It is such a thoughtful gift, since you can choose the sand that it's made with. The only thing I don't love about them is that they're lighter in weight than i expected? i kind of expected them to be more dense, if that makes sense. also there isn't a clasp on the opposite side, so i'm nervous they may fall off when my boyfriend wears them. otherwise, such a cute gift and so thoughtful.
