Another Kind of Bubbly

Boba; bubbles; tapioca pearls—all terms for the chewy treats that slide up the rotund straws traditionally used to sip Taiwanese bubble tea. Intrigued? Now, thanks to Katie and Dustin Watts's make-it-yourself kit, you can whip up a hot or cold batch of your own. With two flavors of tea—classic black and rooibos chai—tapioca pearls, and two reusable stainless steel straws, this addictive delight is now home-brewable. Just add your choice of milk (or not!) and enjoy. Handmade in Georgia.

Made in Georgia

Katie and Dustin Watts have enjoyed tea since they were kids. The two met in Washington D.C. and discovered a mutual passion for the culture surrounding tea on their first date. Over time, Katie started blending tea and Dustin was often found cooking with unique spice blends. Now, they make healthy, tasty products that take cues from the American cocktail, Asia’s ancient tea tradition, and European cafes and spirits. Katie and Dustin believe that nature knows best when it comes to flavor, digging deep into the botanical world for ingredients.

Great little starter kit

Local vendors make such a mystery of bubble tea but this kit explains the process and gives you some quality starter ingredients. The stainless steel straw is a nice touch as well. Look forward to making this again and again.

It's always a challenge to find gifts for children that are unusual and hands on. It's such a technical world we live in. My niece LOVES bubble tea so when I saw this I knew it'd be a great gif for her. I didn't realize it'd be perfect! When she received it she asked her grandmother excitedly "I can make bubble tea?" When they opened it she called me immediately and said that "This is the best gift I ever got"! WIN!

Item was a unique gift

I gave this item as a gift and the recipient was thrilled, she loves bubble tea, and really loved the reusable straws that come with the set. She later text me and told me there is a bit of a learning curve but after the first you get a hang of it and its very good bubble tea. I gave it four stars because I didn't personally try it, but I would recommend it, it arrived promptly (before its estimated date) and well packaged.

Great gift

Brought to my daughter in law at my last visit. Nice packaging. She loves bubble tea and was excited to recive the gift.

Perfect gift for a friend who has everything

This was a gift, so I can't speak to the quality of the taste. But it's beautiful packaging, metal straws, etc.

Love this tea and boba

I LOVE tea and boba. Loved that I could make it at home anytime I want. I also have a lot of food allergies, but there wasn't anything in this that I couldn't have.
