Jessica and Noa Gilboa are a mother-daughter maker duo. After moving to Arizona from Jerusalem, the pair quickly embraced local crafting culture, with Jessica (mom) falling in love with pottery making. Once her mom started selling work, daughter Noa joined the blossoming business in 2018. Now the pair creates at home, drawing inspiration from everyday life. They explain: “Every product we sell came from a need or an idea for something to have around the house that turned into a product.”

Don't buy this

This spoon rest is not worth the money paid. It is not level. The bottom is unglazed and would soak up water if washed and is rough enough to scratch countertop or stovetop.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear the spoon rest didn’t meet your expectations. The piece is made of high-fired ceramic with a food-safe glaze on top to make it easy to clean. The unglazed bottom is intentional, as it prevents the piece from sticking to the kiln shelf during firing. It is sanded smooth to avoid scratching surfaces. Due to the handmade nature of this item, each one is unique and may vary slightly. We receive a lot of positive feedback and have seen very few issues with this item. Perfect for my family

In our case I cook and they clean; but giving this spoon rest to my spouse on Valentine's Day still got the message across that I'm cooking and I appreciate that someone else is doing the cleaning. Love having more space on the spoon rest than the usual version too. Who ever does the cooking and cleaning in your kitchen, it's good to have a loving reminder that there should be a division of labor:)

Absolutely!!!

My husband (thank God) does all of the cooking. I do all of the cleaning so this is a unique spoon rest for our kitchen because anyone who comes to our home to eat,sees this & always comments how appropriate the saying on this item is.
