Perfect gift of comfort
I have purchased these for several people, ages 4 to 72. I've given them to children for calming purposes, to grieving friends, to friends with terminal illness and to friends just for fun. Everyone seems to love them, particularly the adults. They describe how holding them feels like holding a baby. I like that these are unscented. The material is soft and looks durable. They are very cute. It's clear by the reactions of those I have given them to that they bring comfort and joy and nervous system relief.

Adorable and truly therapeutic
This is a darling and truly therapeutic item. I bought the sloth for my mom, who had to move into assisted living and was feeling emotionally bereft, and she loves it. I got the pup for myself, and it has helped me with the recent death of my dog and the ache of childlessness (yes, I even carry it around and bounce it and pat its back like a child). Finally, I ordered another sloth for my high school classroom, where students sometimes just need a hug and a deep breath. Hugs are tricky in this era, so I ask if they want to hold onto Sloth. They always do. The item is nicely weighted, extremely well made, and washable. I've looked at similar items out there, and this one is far and away the highest quality.

I love my sloth. He's a world traveler!
I've had my sloth for over a year and it's still in perfect shape so the quality of materials is very high. I travel with him because he helps me sleep on airplanes, but I'd do it anyway because of all the great looks I get from fellow travelers as I walk through the airport with him in tow, and I have a great time with the TSA folks watching them see him on their screens (the glass beads show up on their monitors) and then see him in real life. Sometimes he gets a body massage or a rubdown in the process so he likes it. This has been a great purchase and I've bought one for others who also have really appreciated it (after they get over feeling a little childish). Come on, don't we all miss having a stuffed animal? Highly recommend.

Best friend gift!
