Great concept, fun to open, game could be so much better
This is such a great idea and my husband loved it upon opening and got a good laugh out of it. He dove in and started in on the game, but quickly realized it's not really an escape room. It's basically a bunch of questions on cards that you just Google for answers and fill out the game board until you get to the lock combo. He learned a lot in his Google-ing, but an escape room this is not. It's too bad, because with better execution this could be so great! All in all, a fun gift, but can't really recommend.

Christmas gift for my boss was a HIT!
Bought this for the 2 gentlemen I work for as a Christmas gift, who both enjoy a good bourbon. I put the bottle in the cage and locked it before wrapping it. They loved it! They had never seen anything like this before. They played it the day after Christmas and sent me a text with a photo showing me that they had unlocked the cage. Took them about 30 minutes. Great gift!

Lock does not lock
The lock to the game literally does not work, which is obviously needed for this product to make any sense. Don't waste your money.

Came pre-locked!
Looks like fun but I found that the padlock was already locked when I opened the box. I've not been able to find a default combo to get it open so I could lock up the whiskey. So I either have to play the game to get a code so I can unlock it or give it unlocked. Maybe I'll just drink the whiskey and call it a day.

Son-In-Law deserved a fun birthday gift

Hi, forgive my ignorance but my husband really enjoys bourbon- would the card questions be appropriate as bourbon is a type of whisky correct?

Hello! That's a great question! Yes bourbon is a type of whiskey and you can absolutely play the game with bourbon provided that the bottle fits in the cage.
