How imperative is it to refrigerate the product upon receipt? I bought the product in September and am giving it as a gift n next week. I am also traveling for 2 days with it and it won't be refrigerated. Is this a wasted gift that will harm my recipient since it hasn't been refrigerated?

No need to worry! The products will still be safe to use/consume after traveling as it is only important that the products are refrigerated once they are opened.

We recommend that these two cocktails are mixed with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto. Also, a little dry prosecco is called for to top off these cocktails nicely.
