Care
Leaving brush in water for extended periods of time will loosen the bristles.
Paper may buckle some when painting, you can use painter tape to tape to a surface while painting and allow to completely dry before removing, or simply
put a heavy book on the paper to flatten after it is completely dry.
Watercolors can be left out to dry and used again by wetting. Due to their handmade nature, colors may occasionally come out of designated spots in the well. To re-adhere, simply wet the paint and let it set in its well to keep it on the palette.

Don't buy if you expect guidance about what color goes where
This calendar has beautiful drawings and paints are provided. There is no guidance regarding which colors to use in each picture or how the shading should look. Not for beginners. This was a gift purchased for me.

Horrible service- never received item
I ordered this on December 13 as a gift for my mother. It has been delayed, delayed and delayed again with no set delivery date (it is now January 5). The "will be delivered by" dates are completely made up! I'm so angry about this, as it was supposed to be a Christmas gift- customer service only sent me a $5 coupon to be used within 30 days for the trouble. DO NOT PURCHASE this calendar, as it will never be delivered! If the maker of this calendar is behind the delays then a massive shame on them for selling more than they have inventory of.

No instructions or painting tips
It's a nice set, however there are no instructions or painting tips at all included. I've never done watercolor before so I don't know anything about technique, how to mix the water in the palette, or do I just make the paintbrush itself wet and then brush it on the colors? Is there any way to extend the life of the colors or brush? It seems like there are ways to make to colors darker or lighter, how do I do that? It would be nice to just have some sort of guidance in the set itself instead of me having to look it up online.
