Emily Ohland is a glass artist based in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she creates vibrant, nature inspired sculptures in her backyard studio. Raised on a dairy farm in upstate New York between the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario, she developed an early appreciation for the colors and rhythms of the natural world. After discovering glass while running a paint your own pottery studio in 2007, she began experimenting with kiln fired techniques and teaching herself the craft. Influenced by impressionist painters and botanical illustrators, Emily shapes and layers glass into luminous works that celebrate flowers, color, and the infinite wonders of nature.
