Katherine Swann spent years dreaming of farm life before turning that dream into something she could share at the table. With no formal background in agriculture or food, she followed her curiosity from a childhood spent cooking alongside her food-loving father to an 1820s farmhouse on the coast of rural Maine. There, she and her family grow ingredients and transform them into small-batch foods inspired by the seasons and her own kitchen experiments. Katherine's favorite reward is watching someone taste a new flavor for the first time: proof that a leap into the unknown can become something delicious.
