Let the Sun Shine

Imagine being able to catch sunlight, to hold it in a jar that you can bring out later, releasing a warm afternoon glow into the night air. The idea is not such a fanciful idea when you have these fantastic solar tea lights. Displayed on your patio table or nestled along your flagstones, they provide an ambient glow that catches the bright colors of the swirled glass enclosures. Each light's silvery cap conceals a solar panel, which powers the long-lasting, energy-efficient LED bulb inside. A sensor in the lid automatically turns the light on when it's dark. The brightness and duration of the light will vary depending on the amount of light exposure it has received. Hand-blown in China by glass artisans.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Sold individually.

I bought the gold and teal lights for my sister and brother in law's patio area. They thought the solar lights were a beautiful touch to the sitting area in their backyard. Shortly after receiving them, my sister said the teal light was not working. The customer service was excellent and didn't even want the defective light returned. Uncommon Goods sent another teal light out to them which they received within days. They were also impressed with the customer service.

My husband does all flowers at our house in the summer. He crushed his foot so I wanted to do something pretty on our porch instead of the usual hanging flowers. They are very very lovely.

I bought two of these tealights without knowing where I'd put them. I have quite a number of solar lights hanging from trees in my front and back yards. Turns out these needed to stay close, as in my patio. They have a nice warm glow but got lost among the trees. I love the company who makes them-- Allsop's lights are so durable and attractive. I'm still enjoying the tealights, but they just didn't suit my particular purpose. I should add, sitting on my patio table without direct sun most of the day, they hold a charge into the wee hours.

Lovely lights

I bought two of the yellow lights and they are really quite lovely on my back deck. I was afraid they would be fragile, but the glass is really thick and sturdy. They cast a nice light - I think I may have to buy a few more!
