It was easy to plant and get started, but it will be a few weeks before it sprouts. I'm so excited!

Doesn't bloom
Can't tell quality as it doesn't bloom. Sad.

Adorable
Got this for a friend as a little gift and she loved it! Then I wanted one for myself and ordered a few more! I didn't plant it yet but hopefully it'll grow over the winter?

Wife loved it!
She cried about the idea of growing our future tree together. Hopefully then with kids! Fingers crossed.

How many weeks does it take to grow taller than the box it is planted in, once the seeds are planted?
Verified reply from Sofia
Norway Spruce seeds usually take 2–4 weeks to sprout, and in the early months they stay quite small, focusing on root growth. In most cases, the seedling will stay within the wooden cube for about 3–6 months before it grows taller than the planter. Growth speed can vary depending on light, temperature, and watering, but you can expect to enjoy it in the cube for quite a while before needing to transplant.

How big will the tree get? Should it eventually be planted outside?
Verified reply from Sofia
Hello! In the first couple of years it stays small and compact—think desktop décor. With normal care it adds a few inches per year, so it can live happily as a potted mini evergreen for many seasons (just repot as it outgrows its container—our instructions explain when/how). * Planting outside? Optional. If you have the space and a suitable climate, you can move it outdoors later once it’s sturdier. Given many years in the ground, it can grow into a full-size evergreen. If not, keeping it in a larger patio pot long-term is a great alternative. Bottom line: enjoy it indoors now, repot as it grows, and plant outside only if/when you want a long-term landscape tree. We hope this helps. Thanks for posting!
