Krista Bermeo's creative journey began with a simple need: to make something with her hands. After years working in museums, publishing, and education, she discovered glass through a beginner's class and never looked back. Drawn to the medium's endless possibilities for color and light, she taught herself by making thousands of pieces, building a practice rooted in curiosity and experimentation. Working from her torch studio in the quiet Indiana countryside, Krista transforms vintage and reclaimed glass into luminous designs, embracing the surprises each material brings. Every piece reflects her love of discovery and the beauty of following an unexpected spark.
