What Makes This Personalized Platinum & Gold LP Record Uncommon

Made from an upcycled vinyl LP that's finished in a dazzling gold or platinum hue, artist Jeff Davis's custom wall art is sure to top the charts at home. The lyrical words you compose for your two-tone label can commemorate a newborn solo act, a romantic duet, or your favorite golden oldies, along with up to five songs with personal resonance. Have your chart topper suspended between two pieces of glass in a floating frame or mounted on a black mat behind glass. Framed record hand-assembled in Philadelphia. Frame made in USA.

After working as a designer and builder of theatrical sets, Jeff Davis enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to earn a master's degree in industrial design. Tapping into a cultural shift toward sustainability, the Massachusetts native decided to upcycle an old vinyl LP into a bowl—and got rave reviews. Now Jeff puts his ingenuity to work designing housewares and gifts made from out-of-commission vintage records, all brought to life by a small team of fabricators in his Philadelphia workshop.
