1. Will the self adhesive hook damage paint? I'm wondering if you could please provide examples of where this product might typically hang from… 2. Assembly looks rather complicated: doing instructions in form as to which pieces go where exactly? Thank you for this information!

Hey there, the self-adhesive hook should NOT damage paint. The Paint & Build Butterfly Garden Mobile comes with string, just hook the string along the peace sign floral piece. Reference the photo on the website.
