What Makes This New York Times Premium Custom Birthday Book Uncommon

An Uncommon Goods bestseller since we introduced it in 2014, this gift is now better than ever in a new premium edition. Celebrate someone special—and their big day—with a library-bound collection of New York Times front pages from each year since their birth, personalized with their name and birthdate on the cover. A meaningful gift whether they're hitting a milestone birthday, celebrating a personally significant number of years, or simply excited for another trip around the sun.

  • Our new premium edition features:
      • A handsome cover in a refined design of pebbled black vegan leather.
      • High-quality F.S.C. certified paper with elegant gray borders.
      • A new size of 10.5" x 13.25" that easily fits into a bookcase, but still has a coffee table–book look and feel.
      • Opening pages with an in-depth history of The New York Times.
  • Make the gift truly unforgettable by personalizing the cover with your recipient's name and birthdate in embossed foil.
  • Choose any date from 1921 to 2005 — the book requires a minimum of 20 pages.
  • Complete the set and enhance the reader's experience by selecting the optional magnifying glass.
