A simple toy with infinite uses
This Memory Game can be used at an advanced level--to encourage a child to match up like things--but it can also be used simply as a travel snack pack for long car trips (to carry snacks). Kids are as happy filling the boxes as they are emptying them, so the fine motor control and the orderliness have a real appeal. You can reverse roles: the adult tries to match up snacks that the child has put in the boxes. Creative and lots of fun.

Our 1.5 year old loves it
Got this for our very unenthusiastic eater (1.5 years with oral aversion) to get her interested in new foods. One day I hope she'll use it as a memory game as it is intended. But for now, it just makes the snack reveal fun enough for her to take a bite out of things. The buttons to open the containers are too hard for her to do by herself, so it's a team activity, which also allows us to cheer her on when she does choose to take a bite out of something. She can close them herself, though. She loves it, she'll shake it to make sure it's full of snacks and then follow us around with it yelling "snacks!"

Great gift idea, but poor quality
This was a really fun gift for my 4-year-old niece and she loved it. That's why we were really disappointed that two pieces were broken coming out of the box and during it's first use. Something for young children should be more sturdy and durable.
