Such a helpful event!
Chef Mark was a delightful and knowledgeable host for this lovely event. I'm pretty comfortable in the kitchen and still picked up a number of tips and my less-experienced partner found it incredibly helpful.

Excellent Knife with Chef Mark
Was gifted a knife skills class with Chef Mark. He taught me how to self-correct what I was doing wrong and now I have knife skills on how to cut and dice (and mince, filet and more) right. All within 90 minutes. I can't wait to practice more and more.

Great Teacher
I received this class as a holiday gift. I really enjoyed Chef Mark. He's personable and very knowledgeable. I learned so much -- and realized that I've got a lot of practice ahead of me to become more proficient with my knife.

Planning to share with both my daughters and my friends
The course was wonderful in teaching proper knife holding techniques, guide hand techniques, how to properly and safely use the cutting board . How to care for the knifes through honing and sharpening.

Fantastic class!
Loved this class -- I gifted to myself and am so glad I did. I learned so many wonderful skills and now have the correct initial skills to practice. The pepper cut in particular was amazing!

Great class, great teacher! Maybe not quite "Master" level
This was really a good class and had great information and presentation. The instructor clearly knew the material and how to present and show the skills and was overall charming and engaging. I would definitley recomend the class but be advised this is more like advanced knife skills than master level. If you have spent any time at all in a commercial kitchen this will be pretty basic. Never hurts to practice the basics formally especially when they are well taught but make sure your expectations are in line.

Very Informative Class
Chef Mark was a very good presenter. Got some good tips. He does cover the info a little fast, so it would be nice if it would be possible to review the recording of the session after. I assumed we would be able to review the recording when asked for our permission in the beginning to record, so I was disappointed to have the facilitator say it was just for internal use. There were a couple of techniques he did that I figured I could watch again after when I didn't quite catch what he was doing. Other than that, it was very enjoyable. Oh one other thing - it would be good to know ahead of time to try to set up your camera to see your work surface if possible. I couldn't do that on the fly.
