First advent calendar my husband has had in years, and he enjoyed finding and opening each days new flavor. There were three of each flavor, some traditional and some more creative but still tasty. All tasted fresh. Will buy again next advent season.

Delicious but somewhat poor design
I bought this for myself as a little advent treat. The illustrations are very cute, and the caramels so far have been good quality and very tasty. But the compartments remain very poorly designed, so it's hard to tell if you're getting the right treat for the right day and you need to fish around awhile to get the candy out. I'm left wondering if some days are just missing and I've been accidentally taking it from the compartment next door. Guess we'll see as the month goes on. McCrea's, I know you can do better, even just a regular BOX would be better!

Love Uncommon, disappointed in this product.
I love Uncommon Goods and have had success ordering in the past. The other Advent Calendars are excellent. This one is a fail.

Very disappointing.
The candy was melted into the wrapper and difficult to loosen. This is NOT an Advent Calendar. It is a box with twenty-four doors. There are no boxes behind the doors. When you open a door you just search for a nearby piece of candy. Did you find the correct piece for the 4th, 10th, or 16th? Who knows? That is not at all how an advent calendar should work. Each treat should be separate. You also need a tweezers to remove the candies. Caramel quality fair to average.

Special & unique gift for son who loves caramel!
I have a son who loves trying different types of caramel, and I was so glad to find this advent calendar. It's hard to find something that makes him excited these days (he's a teenager), and this was perfect!

Has the divider issue in last years comments been resolved?

Yes! The divider issue from last year has been resolved. The calendar now features a new tray designed this year that keeps the caramels from moving around and the dividers from coming apart. It is a much better design.

The artist uses an unsweetened dark chocolate in all of the chocolate caramels but note that the caramel itself contains milk ala butter and cream.
