Rosanna Bowles credits her career path to spending her junior year of college abroad. Rosanna’s time in Italy led to her pursuit of a Master of Arts in Italian language and Italian literature. As a grad student, she spent several years as a Teaching Fellow and took an interest in art history. As she started to understand the cyclical nature of history in design, she began creating her own work inspired by current events and social change. As a strong supporter of women’s rights—with two inspiring daughters of her own—Rosanna combines her love of history with her passion for women’s empowerment to create meaningful designs that celebrate “phenomenal women,” a phrase she uses in honor of Maya Angelou, who wrote the poem “Phenomenal Woman.”
