Leaving behind careers in environmental advocacy and the traffic of The Beltway, Eric and Laura Sorkin left Washington D.C. to move to Vermont and start an organic vegetable farm. They began producing maple syrup from the 1,000 acres of forest behind their house. This led to a line of infused, barrel-aged, and smoked syrups all made on site at their sugarhouse. Laura has a degree from the French Culinary Institute and has developed recipes using their syrups for desserts, cocktails, and savory dishes. Staying true to their roots, the Sorkins not only certified their operation as organic, but they are also one of the first maple operations to be certified as bird-friendly by the National Audubon Society.

Sparkle Syrup is the Star of the Show!
We absolutely love this syrup! It is gorgeous to look at and watch it flow out of the bottle and across your food, but it tastes even better as it is sweet without being too sweet. It tastes like it was just tapped from the tree in Vermont. A super big hot at our Birthday Brunch!

Spectacular sparkling cocktails
Give this as a gift to my nieces and nephews to use on their pancakes and then bought one more for myself because it was so pretty. Ended up using it all in cocktails with gin and lemon. So good and so so pretty!

Perfect gift for anyone young at heart!
This maple syrup is so fun! Shaking it up to spread the edible glitter feels like shaking a snow globe. I gifted this, so I didn't get to try the flavor of it - but the bottle felt sturdy, arrived intact, and it looked beautiful!

Great Substitute for a family tradition
My sister had always gotten fresh pure maple syrup from her in-laws who had lots of maple trees they tapped every year. Once they passed away she didn't have this special treat anymore. So I sent her a bottle of this "glitter" syrup with the message "sparkle and enjoy" and she loved it!

Organic maple syrup is naturally gluten-free, however, this product and its facility are not certified gluten-free. We suggest that anyone with Celiac disease or a severe gluten intolerance steer clear of barrel-aged products, as these syrups are aged in barrels formerly used for spirits such as whiskey.
