Create a mesmerizing candlelit experience with this one-of-a-kind ice shade candleholder, designed by Christian Poulsen. Inspired by Iceland's Jökulsárlón bay, where slabs of glacial ice refract sunlight as they float through a lagoon, this unique piece lets you craft a glowing vessel of translucent ice that slowly melts, transforming the light and mood over the course of time. The candle appears to float on water as the ice vanishes, creating a beautiful, ever-changing display.

  • Fill the mold with water and freeze to create the ice shade. When ready to use, put the tealight in the base, then release the ring of ice from the silicone mold and place it on the base's rim.
  • The unique construction creates a glowing effect that changes as the ice melts.
  • When the ice is fully melted, the volume of water fits perfectly in the base and the reflection of the tealight's flame glows with tranquil beauty.

N'ICE candle for the nicest person

I have the sweetest daughter in law. Lucky me! She and my son have been planning a trip to Iceland for a long time. When I read the candle description, I thought it would be a perfect gift for her birthday. She loved it! It's so pretty to watch the sparkling glow of the candle inside the ice ring. Just amazing! This was a perfect gift for her and would be perfect for anyone who loves unique gifts.

Very Vibey
