Sands Of Time

Place this magical beauty on a bookshelf, desk, mantel, or coffee table, rotate the glass ring, and watch as delicate drifts of light, dark, and glittery golden sand shift into deserts, mountains, clouds, rain, oceans and smoke, all ebbing and flowing into one another.

UncommonGoods placed our first order of Klaus Bosch"s sand art on January 10, 2008, and it's been beloved by our customers ever since. Here"s what some of them have said about it:
"A beautiful piece of art that morphs every time you flip it over. The sand flows beautifully and makes a different design every time it falls."
"It's so easy to get lost in the ever-changing artistic formations of the Deep Sea Sand Art; as a brief escape from the day's turmoil or a means of peaceful reflection."
"My parents are so thrilled by it that they send me pictures every day to show me how it looks."
"I would recommend this as a great gift for someone that has everything. I"m thinking of purchasing another one for myself."
"This is the coolest most mesmerizing desk top gift ever."

The sand art sits on the coffee table. Visitors comment how they can't take their eyes off it. It soothes, almost hypnotized, like a fish tank or lava lamp. The gold sand makes it magical. I even wrote a short story about its power.

I got this for my office and have had lots of compliments. It comes with a needle to add bubbles in a small hole on the side and the needle was broken so I had to get a new one. once I got a new one and could add bubbles it worked great, but it probably only makes really cool mountains/designs maybe two out of three times and the other time it just dumps most of the sand to the bottom. Still a really fun thing and it can be meditative.
