Loved it so much, we bought it TWICE
Chinese Hot Pot was the first Uncommon Goods experience that we tried. My husband gifted this to me for Christmas and we invited our neighbors over to enjoy it with us. We were intimidated because we had never tried hot pot at home or in a restaurant. We loved the format and all of the suggestions for ingredients. Although, I must admit that I treated the list as a challenge to see how many of those items I could find. This was also fantastic because we all learned that we loved Baby Bok Choy and Daicon (who knew???). The class was very interactive and we were able to follow along easily. Hot Pot became one of our favorite meals and we have hosted another dinner with friends since. Our neighbors ordered the kit from the company and hosted us recently. I just gifted the Hot Pot experience to my long distance friend and she called me on FaceTime after the class to tell me how much they enjoyed it. I highly recommend the Uncommon Goods experiences to anyone who is tired of material gifting. There is something for everyone! We have tried several of the experiences but Hot Pot will always be my favorite. FYI, the hot is HOT!!
